Before you say you aint no twat, re-read you original post.....

"You're just as much as a lying b******* as that other person who bragged about making a genesis emu when none were made public yet. People like you should be banned from community message boards like ours "

Come on.........

Anyway, I dont really mind if it gets released or not. I got my C64, Atari ST, PCEngine and NES emulation!!! If the nothing was ever made for the machine again we still have one cool machine, and me for one is happy with my lot.

Rock On
Ok so I made a mistake and said the wrong thing once in awhile. Doesn't mean I am a twat though, people make mistakes and my suspicions made me assume incorrectly in this case. Oh well, anyhow..

Will that new GP32 bios and/or features for the GP32 still make an appearance on the Spain GP32 launch? I heard they would be for Europe but I dunno wha's happening now

Well, Gameparks phone and fax lines are not very helpful. No answer, even on the fax :(

This twat thing getting to ya huh???

Twats are nice things, dont worry about it :p

Rock On

Mr. Markus Heiss of Mitsui referred to Gamepark's unstable financial situation and to "insecurity of the intellectual property rights" as the reasons for the cancellation.

Do we feel Big Ns' thumb now?

It's also not really clear to me what is meant with the intellectual property right. Maybe there is a dispute at Gamepark?

for all we know Gamepark doesn't even exist, the way they reply to our questions and concerns!!

Thank f**k for that.

I get to keep my status as 31337 nerd for having a console that no-one else has heard of. I was getting worried for a minute there. Thank you Mitsui for you total incompetance and complete lack of balls.

Baggy

PS: I still haven't decided whether the above is sarcasm or not. I was kinda looking forward to avoiding messing about with PayPal to get a copy of GPCinema but other than that I've already got more games then I have time to play just with emulators and homebrew stuff.

Besides, if you guys think the boards are bad now just imagine what they'd be like if every 8 year old in Europe had a GP32 :)

Mitsui is supposedly such a big company, why don't they just buy Gamepark? Mitsui's license to distribute gp32's is probably more expensive than all of Gameparks shares.

just a thought :p

Oh bugger.
I was looking forward to some more commercial games.
Ah well, It'd have flopped anyway.

Will Virgin still be distributing it in Germany?

Not happy one little bit about this news!!!!!!!!

We'll just have to wait and see what will happen next, who knows what!!

I feel sad for 2 things : :(
1st = GP32 cancelled in Europe
2nd = Man can't just accept bad news without trying to say : "U'R a liar...or something else"

But the 1st one is the worst I think.
see you

well and truly...
FUCKED over by gamepark...
but who give's a toss...i'm getting a zodiac next year.

You know, I said in the other post ("Official European Release Date!") that the next thing Mitsui will do is cancell the launch outright. I'm not at all pleased at being proven correct.

what sad news! But how could this be? They said just a couple weeks ago that they had some "great" things in store for the GP, but now what? Has it all gone to pot?

Hey... don't take them at their word; they're only words after all. Words don't mean anything in the realm of politics and big business (same thing, pretty much).
Words are to make you feel good while they do something completely different behind your back. :D

...So the Spain launch is still on? That's very good news, if it's true; if it proves successfull there, it may yet be released in the rest of Europe by that other company. What is the release date?

But how did two companies at once get the rights to release the GP32 in Europe?

Shoulda trusted virgin and samsung. Not some little bullshit lying korean company no one has heard of.

At least I won't have to explain to anyone about why I use emulators (they'd see that they were illgeal in some magazine or something, ask me then I have to somehow proove to them that I don't use them)

Anyways, it's still bad :(
