Hu6280 Audio Fixed!

I think this will become the most perfect emulator ever. And in the fraction of the time it takes for other to complete. Vobbo only started porting his PCE Emu a month or so ago. For the suggestions, Vote on the poll. If your suggestion isn't there leave it in a comment and me or Vobbo can add it.

WOW, i just tested the latest version this morning. Then i check just now, and already a new one.

I was going to come up with some lame excuse as to why i havnt donated yet, but i just went ahead and donated instead. Sorry its not much, but you know the story. I'll throw a few more dollars your way when im able.

The sound is still messed up kinda. I'll donate as soon as I can... honest!

The sound is messed up? Are you mental? Have you tried the last 2 versions?
<_< No, I've just been sitting here, talking about the old versions when there's a download link right in front of my face. That's exactly what I've been doing...

Anyways, the sound is still funny. For example, in Bomberman '94, the bombs' explosion sound is more than a second after the animation. It also sounds... not smooth. Like I said before, I don't quite know how to explain it and it may just be the PC Engine itself.

I can vouch for iignotus, in that the sound is not perfect. The crackling in previous versions is now gone; it seems that maybe a few notes get skipped (?) here and there. Maybe ... I don't want to come off as negative or ungrateful ... just trying to give some acurate feedback.

Where the hell is DaveC when you need him

The GP32 version had perfect sound (or as close as an emu can get to perfect)

Congratulations for having pretty much the first emulator I've been able to try that will run Puzzle Boys! :D

(On the GP32, one emulator didn't run it at all, and the other emulator ran it, but the music was glitched to the point where it was only playing the note C at different octaves... sound effects worked though)

Only problem is that Puzzle Boys runs a little slow, but who cares, that game doesn't need speed. :)

Good job, and thanks a lot for the emulator! :D

I also test with Bomberman'94 and also own a real pcengine and PC Engine handheld, the sound on the menu and level start when the stone parts are on the floor sounds like it has a massive hiss in when comparied to the real machine and notes are skipping.

Vobbo I am in the UK near London, if you fancy it we can meet up and i'll bring alone the PC engine handheld !!

Well, of course sound is not perfect. I think I can say that in almost any game. Blazing Lazers being one of the worst....with no voice (when grabbing weapons) and the music completely drowning the sound of the ships exploding (if that sound is even there? Can't hear it on this end)

BUT, it is getting better! 1.03 is much better than 1.02 was for sure. Vobbo is making great progress in a relatively short amount of time. I'm sure it'll only get better. Even if it never did, I can certainly live with it as it stands now.
