Hi pepone.

Found a problem with sonic wings/aero fighters 3.

Sound freezes and sustains on a single note on the SNK-max-330meg screen. Then works fine through the intro, but then problems with sound in game. Using 1.4GPH firmware, stock gngeo0.6.10 with the z80 beta replacing the main executable. Rom is sonicwi3 (mame1.04). Sound on this game worked much better with the C core.

other than that i tried some other roms, neodrift and SVC chaos work fine wiht the new core with sound.

Also tried with Rage frontend, it works well

Let me know if you need more info.

Tested with Metal Slug 1 20-30% fps increase ( nearly 40 fps in average, samplerate, 266 MHz )... just one word: amazing !!!

one of my favorite programs - your work amazes me!
I wouldn't have thought I'd be able to play windjammers or neo bomberman or last blade or svc chaos(!)

thanx a ton to everyone involved getting DrZ80 integrated: pepone, flubba, franxis, reesy :D

indeed, all the credit should go to Flubba, Franxis and Reesy :D
Reesy for DrZ80, Flubba for all the fix he done, and Franxis for his integration of DrZ80 in mame.

 pepone a question, but in the emu you can select for to low the sample without overclock the processor?
Exampe
sound 11500 (don't remember the value) and 200Mhz?
I see only sound 11500 and 266Mhz
When use "Y" i see four options, excuse me for my poor english.

without GP2X MAME and GNGEO, my GP2X would be collecting dust.

Thank Goodness for these fine emulators!!!!!

GRACIAS!!!! :D

Those options ("-sound 11025 -266", etc.) are not in the emulator. When you download the gngeo zip, you are downloading the emulator and the "selector". The selector is a program that lets you choose those options (with sound, etc.) and then it runs the emulator with the option you have selected. You have to change the Selector configuration, but I can't remember how to do that.

open the gngeo_config with a notepad an add:

Code:
cmdLine=./gngeo --sound --samplerate=11025 --cpu_speed=200 --showfps

i think the "--cpu_speed=200" isn´t really necessary...you can delete it. the "--showfps"-command, too - but i like it to know at how much frames a game runs

This fxxxing great emu will beat the PSP for ages!! Me have a NeoGeo system myself and always wanna to play it on the move... With DrZ80 it's just soooo smooth... Another question: I have some problems with the Bomberman rom (and yes, I have the original, before anybody asks) the gfx is totally wrong. The rom indeed works with the Debian GnGeo just fine, only GnGeo2x fuckx it up. Should I download the MAME version instead?

You certainly have a pre 0.80 mame romset. In newer gngeo, I switch the romrc to use the last mame romset. You should get a more recent dump.

 YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!
Now the cpu to 200 and samplerate to 11025 the emu is near to perfect, and save my batteries
SNK VS CAPCOM is PERFECT.

This REALLY rocks now! I can't believe how great this emu runs so soon! Now all that it needs is an integrated interface with settings menu and ROM selector to clean it up and it is perfection.

Thanks for the great work to all involved :)

"Pepone + Reesy = Great things"

I knew these two would be a great combination, and I think everyone would agree that its been vindicated.
