Wesnoth, Anyone?

Yes, that game seems fun. I remember watching someone play it, you can get the source on their website here.

We are not completely certain, but an x86 running at 600MHz with 128MB RAM should be adequate. Slower machines will have trouble scrolling large maps or processing AI turns with many units. See the forum thread about minimum and recommended system requirements.

Without heavy optimization and use of the second CPU, it wouldn't be playbale.

I asked in the Wesnoth forums and the Main Coder told me that a "Lite"-Version should be doable with 64MB RAM

I Heros of Might and Magic Mod would work very nicely. I'm not sure moving 30 units around on the GP2X is going to be anything but pretty in its current state. Although mini-maps could be fun.

played it yet only with a res of 1024x768, i cant really imagine to play it at 320x240 ;)
but it would be nice if it works for me, its a great game!

PS: btw a stratagus (warcraft 2 clone and works with original warcraft 2 data) would be awesome too.
