Now where the hell do we get that game? o_O
I mean, it's a commercial game, right? But I never heard of it untill now so I doubt I can just pick up a copy in the shop today.

Uh... so what is this anyways? This a game, right? The article on the front page doesn't really explain much, and I'm not familiar with the term "virtual novel"... is it a dating sim or something?

He made an 'Intepreter'

These kind of games were script-language written (which interpreted by the progam named 'nscript' originally)

So, virtually all platform can play those games if you have ORIGINAL scripts from COMMERCIAL game (which you shoud absolutely pay for it) and the script interpreter for your platform (it might be free, of course)

NK made a intepreter for GP2X.

I hope this explanation might help.

(This script are used usually for japanese dating-sims like Tsuki-hime, Kanon and Air.. I don't know any other names - never played these genre before - just pick them from the board)

Apparently it's a lot like VNS on the GP32 just a LOT more complicated, Some people (mostly korean it seems) have created original products but for the most part it seems like the most availible things are the demos for which there are a few english translations if you follow this link.

Seems like there are Japanese compatibility lists here:

Damn, this is giving me a headache. :) Can anyone with some knowledge of the matter or the language list all the free games and the commercial games which have an official or inofficial English version and where you can buy them?

Edit: English compatibility list:

Narcissu, a free game that should run on the engine, can be downloaded from http://www.misu-net.com/downloads.htm . Can someone please try this on the GP2X?
