More Unscientic Approaches To Fix Found Issues

Someone posted on official web that if you hold the joystick and turn the stick counter-clockwise several time slowly (like you turn screws), that would loosen up the tight joystick assembly. About a half a dozen people replied confirmed it worked. Overly tight case assembly has been blamed for two problems. (this one and LCD reacting to control input) Some also suggested to actually loosen the screws on the left hand side to solve the same issues.

Since I don't have the unit myself, I'm rather relaying the info directly from sources as a part of preparations of the arrival of the great console known as GP2x.

deja-vu...again

Just what I was thinking

This weekend postings have gotta be the most downbeat I've seen recently.

This is how I understand it to be, the GP2X, it's new, it's buggy, it's NOT broken, it will get dealt with by GPH and it will get better and better but you need to give it time.

I saw Evil Dragon write in another thread "who can remember the original GP32 firmware". I can and look how far it and the machine came. It wasn't great at the start but had potential and it came through. And here's where the deja-vu comes in. B)

I remember when I first got my BLU+, nearly nothing worked properly people told me, but I stuck with it, and I was determined to ride it out. Now almost everything for the original BLU can be made to work with the BLU+.

I decided to stick it out, and it was the right choice then and it's the right choice now. Cancel out if you feel you have to, or if a little wait or patience is beyond you, but if you think you can handle it, make your stand and hold your ground.
