A Nice Thread All About The Psp

Forget 0.3.

0.41 is out NOW.

With full screen options.

This is the best emulator on the PSP.

hoh dammmmmn!!!! I can't wait to try this out tommorow!

I wonder why PCE emulation is moving along so much faster than the others?

That's okay it's definately one of my favorites :)

I REALLY need to get another PSP asap and put my 1.0 in a safe or something lest something bad happen to it (I'm ALWAYS having bad luck like that!). My wife having it is making me sooooooo nervous.

Can anyone recommend a good ebay seller, or reasonably cheap place to pick up a Jap PSP? Its my birthday on saturday and I'm finally going to dig deep and pay out.

videogamesplus-click me, click me!

I have had great service from these guys! Their PSPs are as cheap as I reckon you can find them, they are totally trustworthy (they email you every step of the way, and always get back in touch!), plus after ordering lots of games recently (too many  ), they always get to me in 4 days, and I have never once had to pay import duties.

On another web site I have heard so many horror stories of people being ripped off by ebayers. I know lots of us have done okay, but lots haven't, so...

I'm gonna order God of War from them....

BTW. I bought THUG2 on import, hated it, sold it on Ebay - for a PRoFIT!!!

HEhehehe

It really is great. It was like this with the GP32 I remember, whilst all other emulators were twinkles in the eyes of developers we had an excellent PC-Engine emu already.

Twimfy...Yeah, I can confirm that VideoGamesPLus are extremely good.

They cant be beaten on prices and speed. Though, being Canadian I dont think they do Jap PSPs. What are PLAY-ASIA's prices like these days? (You'll get taxed with them though).

Just bit the bullet and ordered a PSP and wipeout pure from video games plus :D . I`m from the UK, So i am a little nervious with regards to ordering from somewhere as far as Canada  . I have been stung pretty bad a few times before with import duty  and haven`t imported anything in ages because of this. So fingers crossed, I should receive my PSP and copy of wipeout pure within two weeks :D , Without having a heart attack.

EDIT: Btw, Thank you very much for the link lubidog. ;)

well like my DS, i've officially got bored of my PSP. I really want to try the emulators and stuff but got the 1.5 firmware, and online Twisted Metal is getting old and at this time none of the other games i've played have interested me, i guess i'll just wait for Coded Arms

Has anybody played Rengoku Tower of Purgatory or whatever its called, how is it?

Twimfy - yeah but even if you order a japanese PSP right now there's a good chance it will still be v 1.5 or 1.51 firmware... I'm sure all the v 1.0's sold out long ago. So just because you get a Japanese one doesn't mean you'll be able to play homebrew stuff.

IF that's even why you were asking about the Japanese ones, anyways.

Am i correct in thinkinmg that the jap ones play uk umd movies?

They should, they are both the same region, but no one has tested or confirmed this yet.

I actually asked this very question of one of the Sony UK reps at E3 and even HE didn't know for sure.

Beats of Rage has been released.

It's meant to take an age to load but be full speed with sound.

I haven't had chance to play it yet, so I cant confirm if this is true.
