New Taiwanese LCD GP2 with White Bars

Just got my package as the rest of you did. It gets that blue bar, as the rest of you. I hope to god they pay for shipping back to them. I sent them an email and then I go and check to see the product, guess what? ITS OUT OF STOCK. Coincidence? I think not, took them MANY emails to finally figure out that it's a defect. http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=...oducts_id=4362&

Oi...Just let me know how everything goes with everyone. Hope you all get it all sorted.

Well...It's not so bad anymore, I have a buddy who gets dirt cheap shipping so I may be saved...I understand it's not their fault. but still *sigh*

Dont want to spoil your fun guyz, but it seems 100% of shipped units is corrupted - inc. mine. That's the reason, LikSang put them off their web page :(

There is no need to flash new bios, but simply put Frodo in and you will get picture like this:

It's Lik-Sang at fault, read other posts. I have been screwed too :'(

Please STOP using Lik-Sang as scapegoat!

Lik-Sang is just like GBAX - they BUY and they SELL, they don't PRODUCE!

If new units are faulty, it's the fault of the producer (GamePark, I guess, or the company that created the hardware for GamePark... maybe just one IC is faulty in the whole unit!)

GBAX may have the better service - and craig already knows about this problems so he surely'll test the new units he gets from GP.

But otherwise, if he didn't know this yet and sold these units they would have the same error - and GBAX couldn't have done anything about this.

What do you think - that every piece of hardware sold at a large store is being tested for a few days to see if everything is running correctly?
Pf!

I can understand you're mad because your unit doesn't work.
I'm lucky I didn't already order the new one, because the LCD of my old one broke, as you may know.

Maybe Lik-Sang will find a solution for all the faulty GPs (maybe they'll deal with GP to get the shipping costs paid, don't think so, though.

It's a really bad day for GP, because this costs them A WHOLE lot of money...

100%? You sure? Now, I'd imagine most who buy GP's end up here. So maybe a bit of polling should be in place... Whether all, who have ordered from Lik Sang recently have the same problem. Or whether all of you just got extremely unlucky.

Maybe I'm lucky?
