I installed "bookworm-7" on my Pyra. Whenever I try to execute a .dbp file, I get an error message "Error: The DBP System Daemon is not responding. Make sure it's running."

I tried with different .dbp files (SoRR and dbpInstaller). Both applications are visible in the menu. SoRR was working on the old operating system.

Code:
sudo systemctl status dbpd.service
tells me the service is active and running.

From https://packages.pyra-handheld.com/images/bookworm/ I downloaded Filepyra-bookworm-7-install.img
I used balenaEtcher to flash a SD card with the image.
I did put the SD card in the left slot of the Pyra.
I bootet the Pyra.
Fresh operating system got installed to eMMC.
Power off.
Removed the SD card.
Power on.
Initial Stup with enabled firewall, berlin time, de_DE as default locale.
Shut down.
Boot.
1st try to execute "DBP Installer"
-> error
Connected to WLAN.
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
2nd try to execute "DBP Installer"
-> error
reboot also doesn't help
I testet different SD cards
I testet also with an OS installed on an SD card (same problem)

The Pyra also needs very long to properly shut down after I tried to open a .dbp. I can se a message "failed to unmount [...] [name of SD card]" and later "waiting for process [...] sd-sync".

Did I install a wrong OS version? Which version should I use? Or could there be something wrong with my SD cards?

The preinstalled OS on the device is bookworm buster and I only apt-upgraded it, but I can't have a look at the version right now.

Is it? I thought it was still Buster (Debian 10), I've had varying levels of success on Bookworm and ended up dropping back to Buster as the 3D in bookworm is iffy the last time I played with it (Half speed).
