I think some of you know this already as I've been hinting on GBAX and IRC, but there is a new quick fire 16 days comp:

16days.gp32emu.com

3 Nintendo DS's up for grabs plus other stuff.

And yes, that other stuff might include stuff from that auction I won.

:)

If only gigas enghine could produce .gig files now id rush the sam games demo out in 16 days. Please pirotic figure some way in less than 16 days. Also add chat board support ^_^

need Ds. Craigix can you go on IRC, get drunk and send me one?

Edit thats takign it too far. Birthday and christmas coming up soon anyway ill just buy one. Craig are you going to be getting any in stock?

buggeration, i dont think i can get a beta of my second project ready in 16 days and not much point entering gigas for a third time ;)

great prizes tho! hopefully we'll get some updated emulators.

what's the bet that the major uk magazine is Retro Gamer? :)

...who have a pathetic subs dept. incidentally. I haven't received 4 issues in a row now. and can't get through to them on the phone (answering machine)...

Need to find a way to get rid of your 50 NES's eh, Craig? ;)

EDIT: Someone should email Yoyo about this and the new Adic in case he doesn't hear about this in time. Does anyone know his email address?

EDIT2: I sent him an email using the email address shown on the OpenSnes9x website.

Well... from a similar competition called 15 days, at least.

Sounds good, I must say - if I find time and an idea I might try my hand at coding again, but I doubt I will somehow. I'll look forward as avidly as ever, though, to 2 weeks down the line :).

I doubt there'll be many (any?) emu updates, though I could very well be wrong. I don't think Yoyo will have enough time to put together another ver of OS9x certainly. Though ThunderZ might grace us with another NeoGeo32 ver, and Rattboi's been fiddling with his Wonderboi in the not too distant future, so that might, at a guess. And of course, there's the Mr_Mirko port of Hatari which has yet to see the light of day... So maybe I'll be wrong. We'll see :)

Thanks for yet another great (potentially, at least) competition, CraigIX!

Oh, so now craig's trying to destroy the GP32 scene by making all the best coders go over to DS development :D

Seriously, I hope we can get some good games and apps out of this. While there is much to do about emulation with the GP32, we really haven't stratched the surface of its native gaming and app potentional.

damnit! why could he leave it off for a bit longer then I'd have something usable to enter! grrrr :(

ah well... nobody would probably use it anyway.

Silly squidge. I dont care what you make, I would love it wether I would normally have to go out of my way to enjoy the type of prog/game or not.

I'm still making it, I just know it will not be finished before the deadline of this compo. Not going to say anything more than that until it's more closer to completion.
