A leader of the AfD just left the party because he said, that the radical right wingers have really completely won the battle against the moderate forces inside the party.
He continues his political doings independently.
It took him a bit longer than others to recognize that, I thought the last moderates in that party left over a year ago.

Radical fringe groups from left and right taking over everywhere in Europe and elsewhere make me sad.

I think we're nearly on the same page now. The only trouble I'm having is understanding why slowing the rotors gives extra current. The mass of the rotors spinning is all potential energy, and you only get it out when you stop feeding steam into the turbine end, and it's a diminishing power source.

Diminishing power source, yes. You can only use the KE of spinning generators to cover small imbalances of power over short periods.

Feeding steam into the turbine tends to make it speed up. Drawing electric power from the generator makes it slow down.

If, and only if the steam input and electrical output match, will the generators/turbines stay at a constant speed

I suspect you might have caught when everyone was brewing up their kettles having gone off and were about to enjoy a nice hot cup of tea or coffee; they'd brought up slightly too many turbines while the load was higher, so they slowed them all slightly while they turned the extra ones off.

If I might illustrate with an entirely realistic and to-scale graph...

(Note that the red and green lines should really start in the same place, but I've shifted them for 'clarity')
If you add the green and cyan lines, you should get the same as the red line, due to conservation of energy.

Aaah... you know what is nicer? A romantic walk in Paris by night... don't you agree it's the ideal place to fall in love?

While dancing with a Pyra as an music device with splitter:

It brings a tear to my eye... but it could be the teargas... cough... need to... get... Pyra before...

Also, just so you know, they aren't just protesting about gas price.
Our government basically makes up a new tax every week.
Like, they rised the gas price, then want us to buy electric car, and is now planning to rise the price of electricity by 40%.
They're also planning taxes on mobile phones plans. On mobile phones and anything with a screen (Pyra!) to pay for the public television, despite it being insanely bad.
On hyperlinks too.
They're also planning a tax on meat.
A tax for suburban drivers to pay for public transportations.
A tax for every package delivered at home (pay or no Pyra!).
A rise of the tax on alcohol. A tax on salt. And all of that in the past 6 months.
While rich people and big companies, whose benefits have never been higher, are less and less taxed.

I was in France in July, just as they introduced a speeding law. Something like maximum speed being 80, lowered from 90.
Same week they introduced a private corporation to issue tickets. It was so obvious that some law-maker was bribed to lower the speed limit so this new corporation could bunk a lot of drivers when they were going the usual 90 km/h

Don't forget a tax to enter in a city with your vehicle... I mean in big cities likes Marseilles and Paris they plan to make truck drivers (yeah even delivery ones) pay 20 - 30 € just to enter in the city...

Don't forget the ministry got a raise on their salary (paid by taxes)

The plans for 2020? If you cough... you get taxed.
Shutdown or booted a Pyra? That's right, you get taxed (tax on electronics and iot's).
Spending time under the sun? Robbing sunlight (for example, with solar panels) That's right... you get taxed.
Took a big shit? That's right... you get taxed extra for that (not kiddin' sewer taxes).
Running to the bus and breathing extra oxigen? Taxed again! (and might get you arrested if you look suspicious)
Then, you'll get taxes on taxes.... French love that! See how happy they are on that picture?

OTOH: Lot's of idiots looting and destroying things instead of peacefully protesting...

Engineering is so much nicer to read than politics.
But it is incomplete... you forget that you get charged and taxed for usage of electricity... 100,000 households charged with 1Kwh?

What's wrong with working in Europe? Getting taxed half of your earnings before you get it in your hand, then get taxed for each product you buy?

Listen to the lyrics of this song, it's an oldy, but somehow futuristic:

Yes, with the total tax take on the earning->getting_something_for_it at ~60% you are working past midyear just for the State. You are > 50% a slave.

You are .... a slave.
The sooner you realize we are kept as slaves (just like cattle, but with just a bit more roaming space, mandatory vaksinasions), get born into slavery (as collateral, with every person in the country, the country can use that as collateral to get a loan that new citizen will have to pay back) etc... the better. Now... go to sleep, you need to work tomorrow! (sfx of a whip)

I don't mind the taxing... I DO mind the reckless spending.

I can remember a Time, when fuel was quite cheap in french, and every time when whe went to french for beeceeping purposes or vacations, whe refueled our car, and i can also remember to refueld my own car..,
the french "boarder" isnt far away from me, about 20 minutes driving....
Lets hope they dont want to increase the taxes of my meadow land in Wangenbourg, at the moment, the taxes are that low, that they ditnt want to take them from me, as the costs would be more that the taxes for my Land..

Hey im owning a little bit of french :) , but my english is still better than my french..

I'm amazed anyone is stupid enough to work in europe.
I got one of the best education in the world for a mere fraction of the cost, including the plane tickets for a semester of study in Hong-Kong. My wife got out of deep medical problems without having to pay diagnosis and treatment costs she probably couldn't have afforded... Maybe I still paid more in taxes than I received, but I'm glad to pay for others who don't have the same means that I have

The problem isn't that we, the "average" people pay too much taxes. The problem is that the rich and companies don't pay theirs.

If nobody work or life in Europe, than i assume its quite boring at this place, so there have to live some peaple hear,
Europe whitout Peaple ditnt make much sense..
Also there a lot of Diverence in Europe, as its more like a Company of Diverent Countrys, like French, Germany, Austria, Italien, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands etc

If Europe where one big country, mybe some things where more easy..

To put stuff into perspective:

Fuel price in Serbia 1.37EUR pet liter, average monthly salary 380EUR. (Not part of Europe)
Fuel price in France 1.47EUR per liter, average monthly salary 2500EUR. (Part of Europe)

But you don't see (ex)Yugoslavians rioting, do you?

French like to riot. It doesn't change much of anything but I think it's quaint and loveable.

French like to riot.
French, due to the French revolution, have the moral obligation to be more alert when the common man is being oppressed.
The protests are peaceful, just watch the video.

The problem now is that the French police is showing solidarity with the French demonstrators (although around 100 people have been shot by snipers up to yesterday).
So the plan now is to roll in European forces, who are less attached to people from a foreign country.

As for the taxation, the reason for the protests, see this graph:

France is pretty much on top, right?

The problem for the protesters, as had been covered on the MSM here, is that they're unlikely to be able to agree on what needs to be done, being made up pretty much equally of right wing and left wing protesters. The left wingers are likely to agree with greater taxation, it just needs to be better focussed on those that have rather than those that have not, while the right wingers are just anti taxation in the main.

Meanwhile, my energy (electra and gas) goes up 20% and my earnings went down 10%.

Ah yes, this for me too.
But I don't mind too much as I think people use and waste electricity and gas far too easily. It is taken for granted by just about everyone but the penalty on the environment is severe.
It might be a nice incentive for them to use this luxury products more wisely.
While I'm at it, I think people should stop buying stuff they don't need too, and think about the fact that if they buy or use something made of plastic, it's probably going to be around for 100's of years if it's not burned and polluting the air.

The whole ever growing economy model is disastrous tbh...

Hate to be an alarmist, but this "5G" they're trying to push into USA sounds amazingly bad...

Worth opposing, for you 'murkans.

Whe need a Wall, and this „5G“ have to pay for it ^^
I don’t care much about 5 G, as my Phone is 4G, and it’s allready pretty fast, Netflix or YouTube whit Mobile Internet..
I can’t download big files, as I have not that much space left,
My IOS Folder is at around 30 Gb due to the lots of updates this IPhone had in its long life

5G is not just "better 4G", but instead, an amazingly high radiation load with repeaters every few houses.
