PharaOnyx, over at GP32spain, reports that a new version of Xroar, that fantastic Dragon 32/64 emulator for the GP32 has been given a nice update to 0.17. You can get the updated version (for now - until someone adds it to the archive) from GP32spain here. At least, after you've created an account on their forums...

* Added rate limiter inhibit by holding F12.

cool. @ What cpu speed does it run again?
90MHz (dropped to 45MHz in menus), but it's not quite full speed, which is why I've not been announcing it myself.

I intend to pull the GP32 code out from the main project so I can optimise stuff that wouldn't make sense for the general release!

just wondering if there are any plans to port this to the 2x, I have sold my gp32 and really miss xroar.

glad to see it been updated anyway, keep up the good work :)

I'd love to see this on the 2x too - I had many happy hours revisiting Cuthbert in the Cooler on my GP32 :)

Hate to be a stickler, but the heading for the news post about this was "[GP2X] Xroar 0.17 Released". In fact, I've noticed a number of GP32 news articles that were tagged as GP2X related over the last while....

The TRS-80 Color Computer was my first ever computer. Ever. So this emulator really brings back the memories. Though I never had a disk drive unit with it.

Time Bandit - What a brilliant game! I remember playing this so many times!!!
