MiniMenu has a listing of "All apps" and "All games"

The XFCE launch menu doesn't have those tree-branches!

Would be fine if it had those meta trees, which "hold them all".

Note: This suggestion is an excerpt from the larger concept of PND management workflow.

Would be nice if the XFCE menu would, instead of having a scrolling list for large categories (Games/Arcade and Games/Action are huge on my pandora), use a tiled list like the Windows 98 menu did when the list got too long. Don't know if it's possible, but would be much better being able to see all the games in that category at once without having to scroll through.

D.

Should easily be possible by just editing the menu file. I can check that out.
Thanks! Looking forward to read whether you succeeded.

+1.

Probably XFCE already has such an option? Does someone know?

Else it's sure much more work, coding required.

I'm sorry. But it fits somehow into the xfce menu questions:

I would like to use override files to resort my favorites by my own, or place menu entries in non-standard categories (eg. for development testing i want it on top). But non-standard category apps are moved to menu "other". Setting X- prefix to the category like described in the freedesktop specs didn't work. Any idea how to setup a pmxl file or *.ovr for my own menu structure?
