Hi, I accidentally installed a skin meant for the GP2X F200 onto my F100.
Now, some icons aren't displaying correctly.

What can I do?

Firmware: 4.1.0 for F100

Or is there a skin that restores the original look?

Sorry to hear that! I use the f200 with open2x and i never tried any of the skins. May i ask, why did you stick to the official firmware? In my opinion the open2x was a great improvement compaired to the original one

Hello,
I just bought the device and am not familiar with it at all yet.

I wanted it for my collection.

I'll have to see how to get that "oben2x" installed on it.

If it really is that much better.

Installing it is very easy, just download the RIGHT image (f200 Image will brick your device) and follow the steps, found in the readme file. you will find all you need on openhandhelds.org

!!! IMPORTANT !!! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When upgrading the OS, USE FRESH NEW BATTERIES or a power supply! I actually destroyed one of my handhelds, because of using empty batteries :-(

Did you ever fix it?
I assume it's some flash ROM you could program manually if needed.

No, i did'nt. Orkie said, that i could try to fix it with Orkus, writing some bits manually on the ROM Chip, but i do not even understand, how to install Orkus, let alone how to use it
