What's the best way to teach 6-9 year old kids to program?

What if any of these languages run on the Pandora?

Omg I just remembered. Google used to have a drag-and-drop Android app creator but they removed it because it wasnt generating enough money

AFAIK nope, Klik & Play is windows exclusive, as said, I'd rather take a peek at Scratch which runs natively on pandora.

I learnt the basic concepts using MMF, and then went to Python. I have an eBook I backed on kickstarter that I can freely distribute (I think, would need to double check) that really nicely covers the basics of Python.

Alternatively: Code Maven from Crunchzilla

Edit: Yup, permission directly from the Author in the eBook, give us a shout if you want it :)

If you haven't been directed to this url yet and you are interested in python/pygame (as suggest)... well check it out http://inventwithpython.com/makinggames.pdf

There are plenty of pygame examples to play with on the pygame website as well.

Honestly, if you want to use the pandora pygame is a easy choice to get started with and expand on from there.

Edit: you can also buy the book from amazon if you prefer a hard copy from here... http://www.amazon.com/Making-Games-Python-Pygame-Sweigart/dp/1469901730/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386961535&sr=8-1&keywords=pygame+programming
