Sadly, again: Je suis Charlie
Metal Gear - a remake of the 3rd game has been released.
I got GTA 5 at release for the Xbox 360. I knew if I started the game I would like to continue playing, so after 3 years or so I got the PC version to. And during a very long vacation I started and played a lot. I finished the story a few weekends later.Just finished GTA V. Cool characters and story. After trying it once on PS4 I have to say it's so much easier slipping through traffic at 144 FPS. And playing on PC allows you to go from gamepad for vehicles to mouse for guns.
Ended up switching off the music every time I got into a vehicle. There's like 5 good songs that prolly cost millions to have in there, and the rest is meh. Audio can quickly become a cacophony with music on, characters talking story in the car, the traffic sounds and random NPC shouts.
Most mission objectives were pretty boring. I had the most fun with the handful of tasks that required you to identify an area by looking at photos. Wasn't too hard but got the sleuth neurons firing.
I first played it shortly after it came out in the 90s. One of my favorite GB games.I'm excited to play Links Awakening (eventually)
I think someone made a mod so you could take a flight to GTA4 from GTA5. Looked genius as it's a fluent transition from game to game. As a DLC I would buy it, if the game looks nicer and maybe some new content.Yeah it's a shame it's always sunny in LS. In 114 hours of playtime I saw rain maybe twice and fog once. Both looked great and made for a nice mood.
But I guess it's only realistic weather conditions for the area in real life. One of the characters even talks about people's brains being cooked from the unrelenting sunshine.
I should get back to GTA IV one of these days, mod the heck out of it. There's dozens of graphical fixes and enhancements available now.
