Hello,
I decided to reuse my pandora after a long period of not using it at all and I continue with a problem, why I stopped using it at all 8 months ago. So this is my problem:
It is really a pain in the ass to charge my pandora. If I use the AC adapter it works only very rarely and only in specific positions, so it feels a bit like the jack has a dry solder point. However I cannot reproduce the right position for being able to charge it. I even sent my pandora in 1 or 2 years ago to get this fixed. But this didn't help very long.
USB charging is not working at all (anymore). In the beginning when I thought my AC jack is broken, it worked well, but after some time it just stopped working reliable, e.g. stopped charging after 10% or maybe 20%. However if I put my USB cable into the USB-jack is always resume from "standby mode", so it notices to power. However for some unknown reason, it doesn't charge. And even if it would work for some minutes, as my pandora wakes up while usb charging, I would loose too much battery power if the usb charging stops without standby mode.
Do you have any idea, what I can do about this except opening it and checking for dry solder points or sending it in again? Elw3 in the irc-channel seems to have the same problem. Could it be a software problem, that the charging power is not noticed for some reason?
Or is there a place after usb- and AC-jack, where a connection / solder point could be broken, which explains this coincidence?
Thanks and regards,
Ziz
