Hi.

Does UAE4ALL support zipped files ?

And what about .ipf support ?

I have some .ipf images, but none of them are working :^(

---EDIT just read that :

http://en.wikipedia....Amiga_Disk_File

The Software Preservation Society Interchangeable Preservation Format (.IPF) is an undocumented format which can be used only through a closed source library.

Who can believe we can preserve software though undocumented and closed formats ???

I dont think it supports zip files. You have to unpack them. dont know what ipf images are.Only some rom versions work with it though. They should be ADF files. You need to get the kickstart rom(version 1.3 should work)Then rename it kick.rom and put it in pandora/appdata/uae4all This emulator uses the Amiga tosec list.http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?f=33

UAE4ALL does support a form of compression called .adz, these files are just compressed .adf's.

You can use a program called adfOpus to batch covert adf's to adz's, a quick google search should find adfOpus no problem.

I believe ipf's are supported in winUAE via a driver but not in UAE4ALL. I'm no expert but i think ipf's are exact copys of amiga disks made from original versions. Adf's are different as they are generally copyable and have cracks and trainers.

I hope that helps
