Not sure if anyone has already seen this, but I found this article on a german news site:
https://www.golem.de/news/thec64-mini-c64-emulator-kommt-fuer-80-euro-in-den-handel-1709-130363.html
Or the official site in english:
https://thec64.com/
It describes a new mini version of the C64 in 50% build size with, hdmi out, 2 usb joystick ports with 64 pre installed games for 80 Euros.
The keyboard is functional and it is not clear if you can store/play your own game images, but they state you can connect any PC keyboard to the USB ports.
They state this is an offical build.
I am actually hyped for this, as all the other stuff on indiegogo/kickstarter looked fishy or too expensive.
The company producing this console is Koch Media, which is a pretty popular / known brand in Germany producing 3rd party accessories for PC and consoles.
It is set to release in spring of 2018
Also on the official page:
"PLUS – Full sized, fully working version also coming in 2018 as well!"
