Headplay HMD It's an HMD, ... , but it has more connectivity out of the box and a larger resolution, 800x600. Looking forward to testing it out while waiting for the pandora.
Just a head's up. These do not fit over prescription glasses.

It has a little slider that you're supposed to be able to adjust to "act like" your prescription glasses, but the adjustment isn't strong enough for me. (And it doesn't handle astigmatism.)

So if you're nearsighted to the point where you'd need glasses to see a screen that appears to be about five feet away, these probably aren't the displays for you.

(For folk with good eyes, these things are a pretty neat little package.)

Oh, sorry to hear that. I had remembered a couple of discussions that we had a while ago on HMDs and 3d stereoscopy. I posted this just now in the video glasses thread: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/50397-video-out-to-video-glasses/page__view__findpost__p__781137

Now this would be cool next to a Pandora http://www.thinkgeek...ts/lights/964e/

Here's the programmable text fan http://www.dealextre...ls.dx/sku.20296
unfortunately it's programmed via buttons on the fan and text only.

Here's an interesting one, not sure where to actually buy but it's an LED message Mouse.

Sorry not USB but for those who had talked about Modding in lights in the lid for the keyboard, This may be something that could be hacked into the perfect way to do it.

I found this picture but not a link for the product but it looked cool as a USB fan as well (found on an old forum and I think it was linked to Think Geek but they no longer have it)

Pretty geeky USB wrist band charger might go well with the Pandora:

At least I think the Pandora can charge through mini USB.

I inserted an image for you.

That thing is so geeky it's cool, pretty innovative, I've never thought of anything like this.

Has anyone ever tried one of these?

I've always wanted to get one but not sure how well they work. This one has a web cam, they have one without though. Also in Spiderman, wireless, and circus cannon.

I don't know about the webcam portion, but the turret and firing mechanism is very simple to control. I've got a program floating around on my computer somewhere.

Thanks, I forgot about the pic. Oh yeah I just remembered, the Pandora will probably use the same charger as the psp so this'll definitely work! Ahhh I wonder if I should get one. Haha.

The only web-cams that I can't get to working in Linux now-a-days are firewire web-cams, but if I get one it would be one without the webcam just because of cost until someone sets it up to work with the web-cam. I bet the web-cam also sucks so I wouldn't want to use it as a normal web-cam. Well, and having foam rockets pointing at my face every time I do video conferencing would be a little strange.

The idea behind the webcam is that you can then see what you're shooting at. I bet the client allows control over the internet, even.

I realize that but I would want it combined in the firing program. I guess you wouldn't need that, you could have the video feed open and the controls in a separate program. I didn't really think it out too well. It would still be nice to have it in one package though.

i still cant find a usb camera stick without a wire or wireless stuff.
I just wanna have a camera with more then 3MP, that i can plug in, and take photos with.
Don't worry about the wire. Find one that you like that clips where you want it, and then cut the cable down to size. A little bit of solder and some electrical tape and it's exactly the same with the perfect length of cable.

Shortening a cable isn't that hard, technically you don't need to use solder you could just twist each wire together and tape each one individually then tape them all together. I thought I could find a better way to do it without solder but I'm at a loss, I can't find new USB ends.
