dunno if its been entuioned yet but

Street Fighter: The movie: The game

WTF was that all about, a game based on a movie which was based on a game

there was a similar thing, i think it only was here in germany....
so there are those "Autobahn Raser" games, about 3 or 4 of them, all REALLY crappy, then, a "Autobahn Raser" movie appeared. And, imagine, a "Autobahn Raser - Der Film" game was released....

a crappy game based on a crappy movie inspired by a crappy series of games..... now imagine HOW BAD THIS WAS

E.T. and top banana

If you have the urge to play them emulated be ready to throw away the smc and gp aftwards, or the shitness of these games will taint it and your gp forever.

I had E.T. on the Atari2600...
My cousin told me that he completed it and saw the mother ship like in the film so I kept playing... and falling in to the pit.

oh man!

My worst game had to be the text adventure I programmed into my Sharp graphics calculator - or the port of resident evil i did for it...

FF:TA is good but the battles go on to loooooooooooooooooooooong and it just gets repetitive but the other ff games are just soooo damnn cool, especially ffviii

FFT and FFTA are Tactical based games which only have the Final Fantasy name because it's easily recognizable, so it's not fair to compare them to the mainstream Final Fantasy titles ;) In fact, they were mostly designed by current and former Atlus and Quest members with the Squaresoft devs there to add the Final Fantasy flavour.

Critereon or something like that for the Psone *shudder* I picked it up for .99c at my local gameshop. Worst .99c i've ever spent. Shaw-Fu is pretty bad, i bought it just for the name. Its a good convo piece. :D

Warharmmer Rise of war on PC.... a game that does not even installs, which never got to play it...

Army Moves on the ZX Spectrum..a game so hard that it makes you want to curse the programmer...

I know PERFECTLY what you are talking about ... Army moves 2 was easier ...

There were pretty hard games in that time for the ZX

operation flahpoint definitely the most overhyped game ever

In the time Operation Flashpoint was released , there was no other FPS that offered that kind of realism and features to drive any vehicle , and use so much weaponry.

The tactics in OFP in my opinion still the best avaliable even today for a military simulation , but I got tired of shooting enemies in a "plain" enviroment , not much cover to seek ... the world was a bit too plain. :)

One amazing thing was the helicopter simulation on OFP ! ! ! It was really a pleasure to fly the blackhawk to rescue troops and give some rocket showers in the enemy.

I also bought and played a lot its expansion , Flashpoint Resistance. Pretty damm hard and also nice gameplay.

All this talk made me install OFP again and have some fun.

Well, I don't really buy/download games that I know are horrible, so I really have a hard time choosing the "most horrible games of all time." But out of my entire collection of Videogames...

California Speed (N64) was pretty darn bad. I bought it believing that it would be another San Francisco Rush-style arcade game (love those games), but it wasn't. In fact, you it was impossible to go the wrong direction in the game because you couldn't turn around. Terrible, terrible game...at least I bought it cheap.

Spy Hunter for the GameCube was atrocious. Choppy framerate and it featured video compression from hell. I want my money back!

haha, I could also list basically my entire Game.Com collection, but I'll spare you the misery.

Vortex on the SNES. I bought that like two years ago because it was a mint condition in box SNES game, which is a rarity. I should've realized there was a reason it was unopened: It sucked. It was yet another "3D" spaceship game with a super fx 2 chip. Cost me something like $10, worthless...Theres no smilie to express what I feel. But here is the closest:

Oh and Deadline. Bought it at the Dollar Store for a dollar of course. Suckiest dollar game I've ever bought. The other ones were actually decent for a dollar like Shadow Warrior or Kingdoms.

ff7 made me want to throw my ps1 out the window run over it with a bulldozer put it in a woodchipper send it off into space where some aliens would zap all the lil pieces into oblivion

^^

cybermorph is badass

Maybe you didn't play FF7 as soon as it came out: I think it is amazing, considering it is the first RPG with those (incredible for the time) graphics, and it has great plot and characters.

Resident Evil.  I can't believe how retarded the controls are.  I played it for about three minutes trying to help my misses get past a section and I was ready to smash the pad into little pieces.  The 'dynamic camera angles' are reason for the rotate/walk control method and make it totally arse in my opinion.

Same thing for RE: it is one of the first games for the PSX, and it was incredible when it came out. There are a lot of games that must be played immediately when they come out, and you will love them forever, otherwise they will look terrible: i.e. you can hate Toshinden, but if you consider that it was released in 1994... I couldn't stop playing it!

Crap games I recently tried are Megarace 3 and Tsunami 2269 for the PC (I literally destroyed the CDs). Then there is..... uhm, Beyond the Beyond for PSX (an awful RPG), the old Demons Forge.

If I remember other shit I will add it here.

Pit Fighter - arcade : very original idea, but terrible gameplay.

Prince of Persia 3D - various systems : my god...

Rise of the Robots - various systems

Pray For Death - PC

Thrust Twist'n Turn - PC

Forbidden Forest - arcade (terrible graphics, anyway good gameplay)

Rastan 2 - arcade (how could they make such a horrible sequel?!)

Brat - PSX

Perhaps I remember very few crap because I have a sixth sense for games, and rarely pick up the bad ones.
