These from Deal Extreme work well for me. I found that the Pandora stylus left a residue on the screen, not a scratch but faint line where it had been in contact with the screen that could be wiped off later. Also the fact that they are expandable makes them more pleasant to use with big hands.

I have no pandora but can share what happens on the caanoo.

I use tose screen films to protect the screen, bought a big laptop version, and cutted down into 8 pieces.

It has been a year of use, I´m still on the first piece.

Things get really scratchy, you can tell what games I play most by the location of the scratches. :)

I also use a wacom pen once in a while to draw.

It seems, as everyone replying here, that the pandora screen and stylus is really good!

As onpon has mentioned, smoothing the tip of the stylus ....

....I recall someone else [though may have been you before too onpon?] mentioning a while back about this.

They found that the official stylus was a bit 'scratchy' at the tip and they had sanded it down a little to make it more smooth.

Perhaps those getting light scratches have these old stylus, if you look real close at the tip you may see a tiny rough bit of plastic sticking out, causing the scratches.

Edit: It was Sigma, as per this post: http://boards.openpa...aper#entry18655 .. slightly dif issue as that was regarding it getting jammed in the slot, but that is what I was thinking of.

Might still just be some of these stylus' [styli?] have a rough bit on the top

I remember reading this before I got my pandora and made sure I sanded down the tip of my stylus with whatever rough surface I could find. I used paper, as I think someone recommended and haven't had any problems at all.

MFOP-Archos605-T - 1 x Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector (Archos 605) Twin Pack NOK216.5

equivalent of 29 €, 37.5$ or 25£ http://www.overlayplus.com/NO/MFOP-Archos605

Fits like a snug, and works as expected. Hard to apply. No glue, can be reapplied. I can help you if you are in Trondheim, Norway i suppose.

Over twice the price of 2x Clarivue which link is asking 15$ for http://ithic.com/en/microfiber/51-2-pack-clarivue-archos-605-ultra-clear-screen-protector.html

I don't know about using it without a protector, but its a small price to pay for the safety.

I wish I could find the screen protector I bought for my Pandora, but it was so long between buying my screen protector and finally getting my Pandora that I've forgotten where I've put the protector in the mean time ;)

I try to avoid using the stylus as much as possible, because I hate screen scratches.

And once you put on a screen protector, you can never get it off again.  SO...if THAT scratches, you're screwed.

They need screen protectors that could be removed and replaced!

^

The screen protectors I sell can be easily removed.  Just need a piece of tape to lift a corner away from the LCD.  ED will have them soon in his shop, if he doesn't have them already.

So they do not use adhesive to stick to the LCD?  Because this is what I hate about the screen protectors for Nintendo DS for example.  Once you have it on, you have no hope of getting it back off and changing it, once it acquires some scratches.

I must get some of those from you, Link!!

Do they come in bigger sizes, so I could use one for my DSiXL?

I have long wished for screen protectors that do not use sticky adhesive that ruin your screen.

Do any screen protectors use adhesive nowadays? I've bought a fair few for phones etc. and none have or require adhesives.

The screen protectors often are much more sensible to scratches than the screen beneath.

The included stylus works fine for me and does not scratch,

but the Caanoo stylus was really scratchy, so I got a good alternative.

Someone gave me something like this for free and it is really nice,

for you can switch between normal and touch, i never used the laserpointer on the back though.

It helps if you scribble on a piece of paper with the included stylus, to get any paint or moulding burrs off the tip.

Well, a few years back, I bought some for the Nintendo DS.  and I regretted putting it on there, because it was adhesive...and as someone else mentioned, the protectors are more prone to scratching than the screen.

I ended up retiring that unit, and kept is as my spare DS Lite...in case I ever need to re-flash my acekard.

I've thought about maybe trying to get the protector off, maybe after getting it off some acetone or something might be able to get rid of the sticky residue...but I dunno if it would work...or if it might even harm the unit.

Where would I get isopropanol and what is it?

It's just rubbing alcohol. Most pharmacies carry it. Although the good stuff is 90% alcohol or better.. I think Staples carry that variety.

The screen protector I use was just a generic one for Archos 605, and I love it, I really prefer the glossy looking screen. I had to reposition it once, and it peeled off with no effort at all.

If you have one that is stuck fast (that shouldn't happen, somebody must have made a strange batch or sold an unsuitable product) rather than soak it in anything that's unlikely to penetrate it, maybe the best way to get it off would be to warm the DS up a bit, and use a warmed dry cloth to keep the screen warm (not hot!) as you lift it's edges, the warmth should make it easier to shift.
