Seems like intellecto is gonna release another beta in the near future :) With nes and snes coming soon, it looks like I'll be becoming a hermit for a while :)

very cool! it's been a long time since this emu last got updated, and it's come a long way as it is....

i have no idea how close they'll be able to get SNES emulation running on this little box but i am pretty psyched with how far it's come. anything more is impressive!

ha ha ha ha, finally. those lame gba fans havent discovered the beauty of gp32 yet. while they sit there and pay for super nes and nes ports all we have to do is run a free emulator. super mario all-stars here i come.

If the new version snes emulator can run anywhere near the speed of snesemu even with out sound I will be more than happy. All I want is somthing that will run at a playable speed with save support. In my opinion the best games on snes were the rpg's. I can honestly say that the rpg's the snes ran were the best i have ever played. True modern rpg's look better but as for game play I would have to say that they can't be beat. If crono trigger runs faster on this version than the last I wll be blown away. It was almost at a speed that I could handel but just alittle too slow so I'm crossing my fingers. Regardless the work done on this thing so far is very very impressive and I can't waite to try out the new version.

Likewise - SNES RPGS are both plentiful and very very fun. BTW: If you're looking for something that works OK already, try Alcahest - just a thought...

Personally, I'm kinda not going to play CT/FF until a ver with decent speed with sound comes out on the basis that their music is soooo good. But full speed without sound would let me start on Lufia or Terranigma... or any number of others that weren't done by Nobuo or the guy who did CT (Yaosori Mitsumi? something like that)

I agree with Tobriand. FF4's music was awesome. It has such catchy tunes that stick in your head all day long, but you don't mind because its that good :) (at least in my opinion)

Same here, having no sound strips these RPGs of all there atmospher and its pointless, i have every faith in intellecto and its sounding great, but as Mofokubik says, ill wait till its in my hands before i praise it, the last version was meant to be like this and it was disapointing (no Flashback wasnt running perfect as was claimed so much (mentioning no names)) :p

heres hoping

a full speed snes emu would rock with or without sound, if it had sound but ran faster than the current one then I'd still love it! saving is crucial for all the RPGs though :D

Seiken Dietsu 3 (which I can't spell) also known as Secret of Mana 2 ran perfectly on the last version, it was just in slow motion!
noo, its not perfect, its slow

Flashback was said to be perfect, but its SLOW

use the word 'great' or 'gid' (if yer scottish like me :p) but dont say perfect, to me perfect is as good as on the console itself

sorry for ranting but i was purely excited the last time this emu was released cause flashback was said to be 'perfect'

/rantoff :p
