I think Gabriel Knight is not supported, not even in the PC build of ScummVM... Tried it on the Wiz and didn't work anyway.

Only the demo version is supported as it's SCI 1.1. The release version is SCI 2 and not supported yet.

Nice, thanks for the update! Hoping for a Caanoo release soon :) .

The Caanoo release was a few days late (sorry about that, a few personal things got in the way) but I have got it up now and you can get it from the main ScummVM downloads page with all the other release.

As for Gabriel Knight, correct, it is not supported in 1.2.0.

Support for it will come in a later release, it is already completable with a lot of bugs if you enable later SCI32 support in the main trunk code base but its nowhere near stable or something the SCI engine team would want to collect bug reports on just yet ;) .

I expect your just missing the OGG audio pack for the cut scenes. The Caanoo does not support FLAC audio in the 1.2.0 release and the downloadable cut scene packs default to FLAC audio for the sword games.

Download it from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm/Sword1_OGG_Cutscenes.zip?download and see if that helps.

Failing that, just recopy the game data from your CD's with the Smacker cut-scenes as ScummVM supports them directly these days.

Great, thanks for the Caanoo port. Really stable and good compatibility for the first release version.
I played a little bit to all games I own and made a short list of known problems of the 3 GPH ports.

BASS - Load/Save is broken on all three platforms
Scumm FM Towns engine - Games are broken on both Pollux consoles. GP2x is fine (tested Zak and Indy 3)
Cruise for a corpse - Broken on GP2x and Wiz. I get a "Unsupported opcode type 0" at the start on the GP2x. Caanoo runs this game fine.
Humongous 16 bit Scumm games - Fail to load on Wiz but run nice with the Caanoo. Tested some of the demos free available like Spyfox 3. GP2x can't handle this games, if I'm not mistaken.

Found no other problems yet, SCI runs really good now on all three platforms.
The new control system works good, nice improvement.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the feedback, as you surmised I did not get as many fixes into the final 1.2.0 as I would have liked :(.

BASS, yep, it's a long standing but and I promise to get it nailed one of these days.
FM Towns, not games that I normally test as I don't own many Town's versions but I have a friend with Zak and I have FM Towns Loom so I will dig them out to try.
The Cruise for a corpse one is proving an odd one to track down, seems to work with my version 'some' of the time .
Yep, the HE16 titles are a bit hit and miss, I must confess I only tried them on the Caanoo. The GP2X should support the 16 bit games in the future when I finish unifying the 3 GPH devices into one ScummVM backend.

SCI was the main focus and I am quite pleased with how well even the old GP2X handles the bigger SCI games.
