True, he wasn't actually born on Dec 25th. The stable didn't keep good medical records.

The whole 25th thing was hijacked from a Roman holiday as they noticed that around this time the days were getting longer again and celebrated. The christians thought hey everyone is celebrating at this time anyway lets make it "Jesus's birthday"
