True at he wasn't actually born on Dec 25th. The stable didn't keep good medical records. :D

The whole 25th thing was hijacked from a Roman holiday as they noticed that around this time the days were getting longer again and celebrated. The christians thought hey everyone is celebrating at this time anyway lets make it "Jesus's birthday"

the romans stole it from a pagan festival

@Mark: why you sitting in a garage dude?

i'm currently pissed off at the lack of ability my mates have to organise themselves and survive a night without booze, what was supposed to be a big meet up at the pub has gone to shit owing to peoples unwillingness to drive themselves around.

tomorrow i shall be woken early by my little brothers who have an xbox with halo 2 and a pstwo for the car (i've thus far failed at getting hold of a tft, damn maplins) to look forward to.

i shall then eat a hearty breakfast of croissant, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. i will then defrost my car and head over to my dad's house for a few hours.

home again, play some halo 2, eat xmas lunch and then veg out. at about nineish i will head over to see my girlfriend.

I'm going to my uncles in Dublin, I'll play DS and GP32 all day because my cousins are twats, and then on Boxing day I do "Christmas at Dads", which is good because I like my dad.

I'll be sitting in a garage as it's the only place big enough to fit the whole family in. Apart from the lounge. And Kitchen, actually. I think they want to show off with a big table.

Not to mention it's gonna be frickin' cold.

In Ireland it is the 25th, thats really weird.

Do you call today Christmas or Christmas eve?

Trouble is being Irish you probably mean the 25 th of August!!!!!!Sorry cheap UK stereotyping.

Merry Christmas

What's all this anyway?

I live in Denmark and we get presents on Christmas-eve (like the rest of Scandinavia.... and apparently Germany), but that hardly changes the fact that the 25th is Christmas-day.

... And if you've seen any american or english TV program, you would know that they get their presents Chrismas-day :D

I don't get this discussion
