I'll try that port when I can, but it might be good to have some variety as well.
Colors!
Developer's Facebook page (sic):
"The Colors! source have been available to various programmers with the intention of porting it to various platforms, for example OPLC/XO or Pandora. Anyone who is interested in doing stuff like that are very welcome to e-mail me at jens (aht) collectingsmiles (doht) com"
The developer is reluctant to release the source code openly, so if you're interested in developing an app for the Pandora, get ahold of this guy!
This was initially just a homebrew app for the Nintendo DS, but it's been ported to the icrApps store and discontinued on the DS, but there's hope: This would be awesome to have ported to the Pandora.
Resistive touchscreen put to good use ^_^
Could someone add this app request to the Wiki, that'd be appreciated. Thanks
Has anybody mentioned Nifflas' games?
3 of them are freeware, I don't know if that's the same as opensource though...
They are very good.

Tried this one, had to install some libs, errors remain in some .y file (parsed by yacc). But i have no clue what yacc does or anything, so i guess my port attempt stops hereI'd like to see a port of Micropolis, the open source version of SimCity.

The source is there, it should have no problems running on the pandora.

Yeah, after googling i figured that much. Still, about 50 errors when it tries to parse the .y file, and no idea how to fix ityacc is a text parser generator. You give it a grammar for a "language" or format, and it generates a parser that calls functions based on input strings. IIRC .y files are the generated parser source files, generally not intended to be viewed in the raw form except for debugging purposes.
Might be the right job for you during easter?
