Here's a thought on keeping some of the cost per unit down. Of course certain features you'd want to remain native to the device, but stuff like ethernet, IrDa, NFC, video out (Output support at a maximum reslolution of 1024X768 VGA, S-Video, AV Ports for Monitor, Projector, TV and VCR Remote Control Enabled), gps, wifi, bluetooth, camera's etc can be handled by SDIO
Nice poll...i think microphone is missing from the options

SDIO has the same issues as USB Video, the transfer speed is too slow for moving video or gaming.. while it can be used in this manner it's only good for simple presentations and web-browsing. It may be able to handle low rez camera input... As for video out most Newer SOCs can handle at least two digital video outs which can allow driving the LCD screen and HDMI at the sametime. Sure SDIO could be used in other places, just video is a horrendous idea.
I can correct that assertion.I voted, but to be honest the community didn't exactly have any input into the first pandora
... and so has EDCraig has already stated what he wants in a P2
Where can you get SDIO cards?
Do they work cleanly with linux?
quote++;Yes, I voted for AMD64 architecture - that doesn't mean it would be practical.
Missing from the poll:
microphone?
GPS/compass?
tilt/axis/gyroscope?
stylus?
keybaord backlighting?
stereo speakers?
stereo microphones?
separate or together microphone & headphone jacks?
video output - via MHL or displayport or miniDisplayport or HDMI or miniHDMI or USB 3 or DVI or microDVI or wireless or ...?
battery size - 3hr, 6hr, 9hr, 12hr?
maximum dimension in each direction X,Y,Z where X is left/right, Y is front to back, Z is thickness?
analog volume control or digital?
power on slider-switch or a power button?
wrist strap loop slot?
two shoulder buttons or four?
lid hinge - continuous friction or notches?
The poll is a nice idea, but there is a lot more to this prospective device.
