Opensnes9x fully playable (w/s) compatibilty list

One minor thing in the OpenSNES9xGP compatability page is that there is extra stuff beneath the GMP, GFX, and SND columns that doesn't need to be there...

Hmm? Well, on Mozilla it renders fine. On IE however (not my usual browser) it renders 'incorrectly' (or perhaps correctly, and Mozilla is wrong?) and the four columns on the right are a little bigger than usual but the text is aligned as if the columns were their correct size. This conflict suggests to me that it is a rendering bug.

HTML:
Code:
<td width="25" bgcolor="#00003c">
              <img border="0" src="no.png" width="24" height="24">

As you can see logic suggests only a 1px gap either side of the X/Tick/? symbol. I could look into this, but this is the first mention of it I have heard, and it's more of an aesthetic issue.

Problem solved. Turns out sounds must be able for Lufia 2 to start (whether it be On or Sim mode).

Actraiser runs rather poorly with sound at 140Mhz (just to give this post some purpose within this thread B) )

Other than that, top emulator :D

Sadly there are a LOT of games I wish could play better even at 166mhz but for the sake of others I'll try and see what i can find at less than that...

I just tried Front Mission(English Patch) it plays well @ 156mhz(lowest recommended speed) w/sound(22mhz stereo), frame skip 2-3. The battles chug a bit thou and music slows down with lots of enemies on screen. Also the opening story text is a little dark and hard to read and ground transparency effects that show your range obviously dont work but not hard to work around.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors at 160mhz was full speed with sound. So far I haven't noticed any bugs and it runs great!
I think you can go less than 160Mhz to get that full speed... I was running at 156Mhz full speed havent tried lower......

big news, dragon quest 6 runs very well on 160 - 166 OC, and even at 156 its pretty well playable!

cool!!!

Illusions of Gaia works perfect at 156 AND the sound can be max quality!

Though as with a lot of RPG's there are a few transparency problems, nothing that ruins the game though, just a bit of missing water.

seem to have problems getting any of them to work all i get is this
Loading a zipped file searching for rom inside ...i had roms working though ,cant understand it????

new entry... vegas stakes... runs really well but you need to swap to transparency hack 3 in some card games...

so,i'm new and don't know what's the status like with this program,but can we expect a new version soon?or how are things with this project?

oh,and i also thought it would be fun is we all put together a kind of best of list of snes games on the compatibility games,also for the other consoles.like best rpg,best racing games,best fight games etc. ,or has this been done before?if it has,can u tell me were i can find it?thanks

Rainbow Islands: "The game is sometimes called "Bubble Bobble 2". However, two other games --"Bubble Symphony: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2" and "Bubble Bobble 2"-- claim the same name. Rainbow Islands happens after Bubble Bobble. Bubble Symphony happens after Bubble Memories, which is called Bubble Bobble 3, so Bubble Symphony is really Bubble Bobble 4 or 5. Bubble Bobble 2 also happens after Bubble Memories, so it is either Bubble Bobble 4 or 5. Bubble Symphony's song titles, which refer to Bub and Bob as "Grandfather", are true, then Bubble Symphony is Bubble Bobble 5 and Bubble Bobble 2, which features Robby, the "son", is Bubble Bobble 4. But then again, the intro of Bubble Symphony refers to Bubby and Bobby as the children of Bub and Bob, so Bubble Symphony is Bubble Bobble 4".
I actually read in an amiga magazine many a year ago that Rainbow Islands (even with the infinate lives cheat, I could never beat that vampire) was supposed to be a prequel to bubble bobble and the sequel was supposed to be the long forgotten Parasol Stars.

could just be page filling rubbish though
