Nvidia's Project Shield - 'Android & Tegra 4 inside'

This looks much better than OUYA in every way except price. But price was pretty much the whole driving point behind OUYA. I think the only thing that can really drive units is the presence of some really popular Android games that make people feel like they'd really prefer to be playing it on a TV with a real controller.

At least it'll be a decent emulation machine.

Not out in Europe until the end of the year (?) & I highly doubt we will get them for anything like a comparable price to what they are going for in the US (especially in the UK) but at least we won't have to import.

(Apologies, wrong thread.. meant for Shield Android TV)

I'm sure the cost will be through the roof as well. Importing could be the way to go if you can bypass any extra fees & taxes.

Well goodbye Shield Portable 2, you were created with a Tegra X1 and you were almost out the door, then Nvidia signed a contract with Ninitendo, and you were forgotten

The Tegra X1 Shield Portable 2. Created , but not released - hasta la vista

I would honestly prefer this over the Switch...No Seriously I would.
Though, I really would love it if they could make a Shield WITH X1 and with a built in keyboard along with the game controls....
