dancin' to the moldies
I just got my Pandora yesterday (hurray!) and I quickly noticed that the left nub did not work as a mouse. I instead used the stylus and dpad to get through the initial set up. My symptoms are as follows:
Left nub: Horizontal movement is great. Up movement is so limited that it may take 10 to 20 seconds to get to the top of the screen. Down is almost non-existent, once or twice I got (or imagined possibly) a slight movement towards my keyboard.
I have tried:
Moving my nubs around like a wild man
The direction release jig at start up and other times
Reflashing the firmware (I needed to for other things as well)
Resetting to defaults in the nub menu
Made an offering of vodka to my Craig shrine
I made the right nub the mouse movement and the left for the mouse buttons to temporarily solve my problem. This will not benefit me as a joystick but for now I can live with it.
If there is inspiration on solving this let me know.
Thanks for reading.
TLDR: one nub broken horizontally, help me fix it.
