I think the word you were looking for is "handset"?Maybe there should be a handheld dock for the Pyra in the shape of a desktop phone's mic-and-earpiece-handlebar-thingy - what is it called?

For one phones don't use the metal casing as an antenna it would make for a horrible antenna, nor does EMF travel up to a headset nor down as the wires are purposely shielded for that very reason. I would be 100% more concerned by the radiation emitted by that massive bright nuclear fusion ball that lights up our planet constantly.hi there,

..progressive science says: A conventional headset has a wire cable. Wire has metal in it. This metal conducts the radiation coming from your cell phone allowing it to easily travel up the wire and into your head. So wired headsets can act as an antenna attracting ambient EMFs, transmitting radiation directly to your brain, thereby increasing your exposure.
Those worked great for the Pandora (through linphone). Hopefully the pickup/closecall button will now work on the Pyra.
Thanks. I somehow expected it to not have a unique name in English.I think the word you were looking for is "handset"?
Yeah, like that, but with a cutout on its palm-side with male plugs to be a dock for the Pyra. It'd be sidetalk, but bigger. It could also relay HDMI out on the Mic-end for video telephony.

How do you know whether it is unscientific? Have you done experiments with it?Just to make sure: You *are* joking, right? Please tell me you don't actually believe that unscientific mumbo-jumbo

Whats the latest? Did the case get figured out? Are prototypes assembled?
I wish there was like a status page where I could quickly view the current state without wading through these posts about fricken HANDSETS.
How do I know? I'd say my Master's degree in electrical engineering would be a good start. I don't have to run experiments on something that just doesn't work with the basic laws of physics.
Actually before reading the post I thought that the picture was about the dangers of listening to music too loudly, which is another thing a lot more dangerous than most electromagnetic radiation conducted by metal wires. For one phones don't use the metal casing as an antenna it would make for a horrible antenna, nor does EMF travel up to a headset nor down as the wires are purposely shielded for that very reason. Nice, Amish earbuds!
Woo aside, that is quite a neat product. I wonder if it has a practical use? And how it sounds?

I'm loling at their "3-piece / 4-piece ultimate radiation protection package". Surely you don't need the pneumatic earbud AND the ferrite bead? And how on earth can you have an RF-shielded phone case, and still have your phone work?
Don't you know that having any form of actual scientific training immediately disqualifies your opinion in these conspiracy and pseudoscience matters?
That is your start? Does that imply that you have more reasons? How do I know? I'd say my Master's degree in electrical engineering would be a good start.
Why do you think that it makes someone less qualified?Don't you know that having any form of actual scientific training immediately disqualifies your opinion in these conspiracy and pseudoscience matters?
