No Man's Sky (shh.. the new Elite?)

I don't have to complete it yet, there is this invention called safe game, Cyberpunk is anyway too long to play through at one part .. , I will come back later when No Man Sky is boring again ^^
On Topic: The Switch2 Version of No Man Sky did not got the Update/DLC Yet, but im anyway just at the start, the Tutorial did send me to the first Space Station, and im quite poor still, so I could not afford an big Space Ship anyway .. Building Start Fuel for my "Fiat Doblo" named small Ship is now not the issue anymore, and I have the terrain manipulation laser for my Multitool allready, but its quite a long way from now to gain enough Navi Credits to even afford a new Multitool, or Ship Upgrades ..

Beside this its fun allready, you are Feeling like an "Mondsoldat" like they call it on the Propaganda Posters in the newer Wolfenstein Games ^^ , Its a quite chilling Game, maybe the opposite of the action of Night City..

But I hope Nintendo will release the Update soon ..

There is now an new Update for the Game, i did not read if its an DLC or an free Content Update, but its called "Voyages", and you can now build your own big Space-Ship
Hi matzesu, long time since my last visit. I've spend 200+ hours into No Man's Sky since Nov2022 and i haven't seen a DLC for NMS since. It's all free content upgrades but the main price is still high to fund the continous development.

To build the new Corvette class ship you can collect parts on planet exploration or buy basic parts on a space station. As far as i understood correct there will be an event that will give you a Corvette ship as a gift. These "Expedition" called events are time limited. I recommend to focus on playing No Mans Sky if that event starts, some of quests can be difficult and time consuming. (There was a fishing quest that needs to catch a specific fish that was found on a specific planet enverionment type only. Hey, it's an exploration game, so explore where to find it.) Sometimes the exploration events are repeated to get a chance again to get some of the special ships or tools but there is no warranty that past events will be re-playable.

For new pilots it's best to follow the quests, they unlock many blueprints for free. If you can buy blueprints go for the bio reactor and stargate first. You don't need to gather your own resources, your are no thief because many other pilots share their resources on their bases. Try to find gold production base and loot it to sell the gold on the station market terminal to get money fast.

Be carful with wikis, some information is outdated after 10 years game development. A good thing to read is the basics of basics of base location it will save your time to find up to three mining resouces in range.

no. complete the games you start. otherwise you're just a casual game tester and you don't get the full joy.
No Man's Sky can't be completed. Explore the universe in your lifetime? No.
There is a quest "heart of the galaxy" and i've 718.000 lightyears to travel into. I got a long distance ship recently. It can do 1300 ly per jump. Better than the 200 ly before but it's still 553 jumps. But the jump drive needs fuel.
And rumor said the the heart of the galaxy is just a portal into a new galaxy. Within that new galaxy goto the heart and repeat.

So the Goal of the Game is mostly have fun in Space? Upgrade your Gear, gather Credits, build a nice Corvette (when the Update is out on Switch2), explore new Worlds, and feel like you where an Astronaut like Hans Armstark (yes i have to use the Wolfenstein Names, im currently play the Series too) ^^
I think the next goal should be to build me an Planet Ground Vehikel, as i would suspect it might be too expensive to build Start Fuel for my Fiat Doblo ^^
