Nope £110 in the UK, when you can buy a 3DS for about £135, not sure they are going to sell many.
As a parent of a young child I can say I'd consider this design much more likely to suffer catastrophic damage in the hands of a 4-6 year old than a clamshell. To me, ending up with a floppy hinge is better than having a badly scratched / broken screen.
Also, if anyone can come up with a convincing argument that looking at 3D images damages the eyes of small children then I'd love to hear it. As jumpman says the 3D is more pf a problem for kids as they are unlikely to remain still enough during play to stay in the sweet spot.
