New Release For Nk Emus

yes you are right, funny is that the 30.11 is tomorrow here in europe ;)
please can somone upload this to the file archive?

PS: shit my batteries are empty :(

It seems to me the SNES emulator is a bit faster, regularly in double figures FPS for Mario World. The NES and NeoGeoCD emulators have the same file size as their previous iterations (unlike the SNES emulator); has anyone found a difference, or is this just a bundle?

NEOGEO CD COMPATABILITY INCREASED!!!!!!

Nevermind the SNES emu, NeoGeo CD just got even better, KOF 94, KOF 98 and Metal Slug 2 all just booted with this latest version!!!!!!!!!

YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! :)

Install the latest libs that come with emus as the SNES emulator crashed when I ran it with a game that previously worked, need to test more games to see if speed has improved.

I managed to join Gpain.com and just downloaded it. :)

Update the wiki page http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/NeoCDGP2X

Tried Yoshis Island and Mario World, they run much faster

But still not playable

I don't know if this has been posted else where but here goes. on the Snes emulator
*Pressing thumb stick down and Select brings up a FPS (frames per second) counter
*Pressing thumb stick down and Start resets current game
*Pressing thumb stick down and Right Shoulder exits to the ROM selection screen

been in there since the last release at least.

Also NeoGeo Windjammers works now although it is missing the text in the menus Updated Wiki

Edit: Spelling

Aerofighters 2 CD
Alpha Mission CD
Bust a Move CD
Metal Slug 1 CD
Metal Slug 2 CD
Cyberlip CD
How to I get the roms working with this emu, I have the zipped roms that work with MAME but not completly sure on how to get em working with the emu.

Time to test the snes and nes out!

I'm also having some trouble here getting the NGCD emu running (well, a game running in it).

I've got the 11/30 distribution, unzipped that and copied all files to the root of my SD. I ran the libraries install in Utility (just in case they were revised). I have a neocd.bin (MD5 F39572AF7584CB5B3F70AE8CC848ABA2 ) (along with other NG system roms), with copies in both the root directory and in the roms directory (just in case). I have a Metal Slug iso, which I have extracted the files from. I have zipped the files into a single archive called Metal_slug.zip I have a copy of that in both the root directory and in the roms directory (just in case).

A lot of duplication. Anyway, when I execute the NGCD GPE, I get a black screen, followed shortly by a startup screen, then I get kicked back to the system menu.

Clearly, my approach isn't quite working. NES and SNES both give me rom selection screens, so I was expecting something similar for NGCD, but it's not ever getting that far.

Ah, I've also got the 1.0.1 r3 firmware that was just delivered yesterday on gp2x.com

name the zip file neocd.zip and try it again. As far as i know there is no rom selecter yet, it automatically loads neocd.zip.

Actually there is a rom selector.Been here since the previous version so you can name and place the wherever and however you want.Ahhh the joys or a file browser. :D
