(I know, I know it is not so primary issue than other bugs in kernel
but I'm the one of who don't-care-those-bugs-and-just-love-their-gp2x-as-it-is :p)

So, just for curiosity, anybody has an idea for reducing boot-up time?

I read a post on gpain.com.

When someone ask about booting time,
NK (oh, you great gp2x coding god make my gp2x double better every morning) answered he doubt it can reduced.

He said:

Start from boot loader, take 4~5 secs for recognizing SD and check firmware
and before move to kernel, 4 secs for decompressing.
so it might be very hard to reduce boot-up time dramatically.

Well, he is not so sure, (and he mentioned it with 'dramatically') but
it seems he doubt it obviously.

How about you, guys, any idea?

(NK also posted the boot-up logs, if you interesed, http://gp2mania.com/bbs/data/pds_etc/gp2x_boot.txt)
