A CD image wouldn't but Gamedata+mp3 music averages in about >100meg

Because you would need over 200 MB of RAM to play the largest ROMs.
Really? Oh bugger I better tell my xbox it's doing the impossible and should stop lest it face persecution of being a witch.

the xbox has a hdd and use that for kind of swapspace i think, it was allready said several times. Using a SD as swapspace would kill it in a quite short time, cause it has a limit of read/write circles.

You know, any console that was designed to stream data off a disc, you do not NEED to have the entire game/ISO image in RAM at once. It can work just as well loaded gradually from a card.

With the GP2X's 64 megabytes of ram we'd still be able to emulate the majority of Neo-Geo MVS games. There are a TON of games under ~500 megabits, including most of the Neo's best. So, I don't think RAM is an issue, unless you are only focusing on the Neo's newer games.

You know I honestly wouldn't care if people made a NeoCD emmulator as long as it supports traditional NeoMVS roms too... I mean I even have broadband now (finally!) but I still dont want to have to seach out those games and them have to rip MP3s in order to enjoy every one of the games.

NeoCD is fine, though it lacks some great games:

Blazing Star
Magical Drop III

Neo Bomberman
Prehistoric Isle 2
Sengoku 3
Waku Waku 7
Zed Blade

Its also true that there were games on the neo-cd that were not MVS

I'd dearly miss Blazing Star. Thankfully though most of my favorite arcade games are in MAME, and 68000 based, which looks like it'll have some serious development weight thrown behind it by the MAME dev community right after release. Yay.

yeah, an MVS emulator would be better than neo cd even if it won't load the newer games! ISO+MP3's take too much space :(

Though there's barely any neo-cd exclusives and only a few are worthwhile:

Ironclad Bri'kinger [Will be missed, but is made up for with Blazing Star]
Samurai Showdown RPG (Japanese)
Zintrick

But it doesn't matter that much, I guess; a NeoCD emulator is better than no Neo emulator at all (I just hope that we get good speed/sound with it).

I'm pretty sure its fake...
watch at the end. he's pressing right on the stick as the charector is shooting up :)

at the end i see the character moving right and the joystick moving right

and it also looks pretty damn realy to me

Surely KOF98 should play. It runs fine on the PSP despite taking an age to load between character select and the actual fight.
