Hi guys,
it would be nice to monitor 3G modem traffic, as there are "flatrates", which are limited to a specific data volume per month.
Ideally, it should be configurable to automatically reset statistics on a specific day in the month, and to give a warning, if traffic within a specific time period (a month, reaching from day X of a month to day X-y on the following month) reaches a specific limit.
E.g. my data plan's billing is from day 10 of each month to day 9 to the following month, and allows 1GB of data volume.
So I'd like to set a warning at 500MB and one more warning on 750MB maybe, and counting shold be reset automatically on each 10th of the month.
Is there a way to do this currently, in a setup involving NetworkManager?
Any pointers to suitable existing software?
Thanks a lot!
Daniel
