Natively-running raycasting 3D engine

So yeah, we've seen plenty of ported 3D shooters.....but I got to thinking the other day, I wonder what the results would be if someone experienced with ARM9 assembly tried to create a raycasting 3D engine with a Shadow Warrior/duke3d style feature set, that would run natively on the GP32?

If they can squeeze something like Duke nukem Advance out of the GBA, imagine what the GP32 could be made to do in the right hands?

well then you take up C++/c or whatnot and graphics and you figure it out. THen we will have more coders and designers. IF you make a game good enough you could sell it

You can always make you're own Doom WAD and change the Doom Engine. It's opensource so why not?

Doom is a port. It cannot utilize the GP32 hardware to the same extent as a natively running, assembly based engine.
