True. But blocking scripts blocks a hell of a lot of their tracking attempts. They just see a singular https request with a user-agent which I sometimes fake, and sometimes proxy.
I use a plugin called user-agent switcher to allow me to change my user agent. For proxying, see the network settings in your preferences (currently on the general tab of the settings page, at the bottom, but they've changed this a number of times during Firefox's evolution so I'd expect it to go walkies still). You'll need to have access to a proxy server located somewhere else around the world to know what to put in here. On that page I've also noted I'm running DNS over https to a third party which limits my exposure to my ISP somewhat.
