it's a remake of the megaman X/zero games, and source is available at
THIS PAGE .... i had a thread and people said it could be possible.... so can some of you great coders in here (which is my very very serious opinion) look at it? PLS

how complete is it?

i think it is very complete.....its fully playable, only bugs i experienced were in multiplayer mode.....it crashed once or twice at the same place....but in solo it doesnt. also if it helps you, someone said its done in allegro

have you not heard of GPFW? It's a c+c clone. Take a look for that if that's what floats your boat.

I'll just add it in here... EXULT!! the Ultima 7 emulator! If you want more info on it, just check the Ultima 7 thread.

I wish there would be a GBA emulator for GP32 as GBA games are the best among all the other video games on handheld. However, I am just in doubt that how come nobody makes any GBA emulator for GBA...! Cuz all the VRAM or MHZ or whatever you guys call it are much superior to GBA, why is it not possible to have emulator or emulate the GBA on GP32?

i think your a little confused about how emulation works
skeezix game a very good defenition of how it works
look around and you'll find it
by the way there is one
its called gpadvanced
not very fast though
and compatibility for comercial games is bad
you will get full speed gba homebrewn games though (from what i hear)
so getting a gp32 is the best of both worlds as far as homebrewn goes

although i am having trouble getting gp advanced running on my gp32
it ran before
then i flashed to slubman and it wont work
does anyone else have this problem?

i don't want to get rid of slubman
maybe i'll make my own multi-firmware with that tool form aquafish

would it at all be possible to do a port of jet grind radio

If the source code is available, Then yes!, If it not, Then no!.

Trooper

LOL i think you dont know what Jet Grind Radio is Trooper
Jet Grind Radio, aka Jet Set Radio, is a cell shading game for DC.....so porting is quite unlikely......though sthg like smahsGP for Jet Grind Radio would be K3wl....

but maybe Im stupid and he means the GBA version....anyways, that would mean

NO SOURCE CODE EVAH

That's what I have been thinking of. you are right I know nothing about emulation except the knowledge of how to put games into the emulator and play  Anyway, as lots of you and even ads said that GP32 is much better than GBA and GP32 seems to have all function of GBA, so isn't it easy to make GBA emulator for GP32. I know there is one. But how come it doesn't support commercial games, that's the question.

By the way, does GP32 support cheat device?

It's still a lot of work. Yes, it is very possible. But that doesn't make it easy.
The CPU is compatible which does make it a little easier. But the rest of the stuff
is still hard work.

Check out their website, It'll answer your emulation questions pertaining to GBA on GP32. GpAdvance on Sourceforge

Hehe, there is also a racing game in development for GBA called GP Advance (as in Grand Prix)...

i meant the dreamcast version not the same exact thing but like smash gp a completely different game based on the original

cool....should've thought about that....great idea now that i think about it....but need to find a programmer who is wanting to do this.....
or learn to code and make it ^^ could take quite a while for me

i am learning to code but it will be a very long time before i could code something like that i know only the very basics and i hear it is more dificult to program for the gp32

Does anyone know what the name of this game where you and possibly a 2nd player would go around sucking up monsters in your vacuums? And you could shoot the monsters from your bag after they built up and kill other enemies?

I remember I played it on the same arcade machine as Buster Bros. (That's the same as Pang, right?)

I would love to see that on the GP32.
Sounds very much like Methane Brothers (Linux-game), but I bet it's not...
