Most Important Feature Of Pandora

Does anyone else remember pressing your thumbs over both speakers on boot up, or using a dummy headphone plug to mute the sound on the GP2X?

I still do this.

Startup sounds are a waste of time. There are better things the computer could be doing, like, starting up.

I hate the startup dings, flings and floops on the GBA, DS.

Whoever thought of putting those in should have been shot. With a Howitzer.

Harsh.

I think I've narrowed it down to a Duke Nukem sound or "Shadow Boxing is Prohibited" In Japanese.

how about captain planet theme song...

Pandora... the power is yours! :)
The problem was that Captain Planet was a hypocrite, and that's probably not the best thing to be associated with. :p

Ah, the Neo Geo pocket... sadly under-appreciated in its day.
It startup sound was so... happy. :)

Best thumb stick on any handheld ever.
No mere d-pad will ever come close.

why not the other way round? YOU have to make a noise to make the pandora start. Never thought of turning on a device with a nice loud fart? Or the bob-the-genie-way of activating by sneezing. Alwas think of taking some pepper with your pandora :D

To be able to personalize as much as possible. When the device starts up, I want it to play the opening of Cult by Slayer.

Nothing beats the old 'Da Ding' when the old gameboy started up. Some amazing memories will erupt with that sound.

Absolutely agree - still got my NGP, although sadly my game collection is a little lacking, owing to the fact it got discontinued literally a month after I bought it and games became either rare or stupidly expensive overnight :(

You might want to take a look at Play-Asia's selection, Thecko. They've got quite a number of games, some of them at pocket-change prices. :p
