Yay! My ShowWX has arrived... Now I just need the TV out cable or zevdawg's order to be delivered.
 
I expect to see pictures as soon as possible. :lol: I'd love to have a projector, myself.

(Sure, always best on a laser system, but thats pretty hard to come by; projects come pretty close :)

I've got my Pandora streaming to my LCD projector .. its lovely! gstreamer for the win!

Wish I could get 3D acceleration going too, ah well .. gotta wait for that cable.

zevdawg has apparently ordered a large batch of Pandora EXT connectors, but there's a 2 month backorder on them. The details are in the TVOUT thread in the Help section.
I've been playing with mkv encoded DVDs, and I'm having much better results with the raw mpeg2 from the DVD rather than x.264 reencoded data. I think if you're ok with the extra filesize, it's a better way to go - no re-encoding degradation. There is a DSP codec for mpeg2, so it should still be ok when the DSP is working.
