well yeah.LHC posted on Jul 22 2005 at 01:18 PM said:I'm pretty sure it is more unlucky for the guy that is dead.
Yeah I mean, how crazy those police officers are to shoot to kill a man who is resisting them after a major terrorist threat. The guy deserves what he got for being a total moron.Nova posted on Jul 22 2005 at 12:07 PM said:Well if they were wrong, it would make britains police look bad, although they had all right to challenge him as they should do, and, as heran away, they had been told to shoot to kill.

Shoot first and ask questions later, is that really the kind of country you want to live in? Then again, with a fucked up attitude like yours you're probably already a copper . My Grandad fought for this country so we wouldn't have to live in a facist police state. Looks like he wasted his time .Twimfy posted on Jul 22 2005 at 11:46 AM said:skysnapper posted on Jul 22 2005 at 11:30 AM said:markusdragon posted on Jul 22 2005 at 06:03 AM said:I think the first wave had more to do with the G8 than Iraq.
No Idea what the second one's about, really.
Same as the first to maim and kill.... apparantly the british publc deserve this according to radical clerics as we re-elected blair
Just caught some breaking nrews armed police have just shot dead a suspect on stockwell tube this morning...
Yeah sounded quite brutal as well. They chased him through the subway, he tripped and fell into the doorway of a train, they then pinned him down and then shot him.....good on them I say, it's about time we started seeing actions like this, a few more seconds and he could have killed a lot of people.

I didn't mention anything about racism, I mentioned fascism and execution without trial. And as for needing to shoot the guy before he hurt anyone, if someone did kill many people and they were arrested they would go to prison for many years, but they would not be killed as we no longer have the death penalty in the UK. So are you saying that it's ok to have the death penalty for people who may be thinking about murdering, and it's ok for someone other than a judge to make that decision?Twimfy posted on Jul 24 2005 at 01:30 AM said:but I would appreciate it if you would not link my comments with racism

there are no universal rules, of course people shouldn't be killed for planning murder, but we need to look at the situation that the police found themselves in.
as i stated as soon as the story about the shooting hit the news, running from the police was akin to authorising your own death. why didn't he just listen to the police?
Police shooting somebody is instant manslaughter charge. There will not be a culture of trigger happy police, that is bullshit. I honestly don't see the big problem here. What were the police supposed to do? Let him run off when he is acting highly suspicious A DAY after a major attack?Twimfy posted on Jul 24 2005 at 02:03 PM said:The only main problem I see with this and I'm sure you've thought the same, is now we're probably going to see a lot of dead people who are completely innocent because the police have gone all jumpy and trigger happy, well there's nothing we can do about that as it comes down to the individuals with the guns.
He was a Brazilian, who maybe didn't understand English, up against plain-clothed police officers. If a bunch of 4 or 5 random men in jeans starting shouting at me in a foreign language, I'd run.spray posted on Jul 24 2005 at 02:19 PM said:as i stated as soon as the story about the shooting hit the news, running from the police was akin to authorising your own death. why didn't he just listen to the police?
