That's nice of them, biting the one of the hands that chucked them a lifeline.craigix posted on Mar 15 2004 at 02:44 PM said:I have not told anyone that they are not going to release it here, infact since I can't get them anymore I hope they do so I can restock... GP won't sell them to me anymore unless I place a $300,000 order!

Although I think the GP has been good value, I believe over the time it has been available, it should be going down in price, not up. The parts must have got a lot cheaper over the last year odd, and also if virgin are ordering in bulk, it should in theory bring the unit price down. Tob be honest, I don't rate Gamepark. It's a nice bit of kit, but as a company they have had almost no communication with their customers, and have not delivered on many of their promises.
Also I don't think it's down to GP where they launch it anymore, ( I don't think they have the cash to launch it anywhere without outside help). If virgin had a big success on their hands, they would want to launch where they have other outlets- the UK being one of them. We would probably get more sense out of a virgin representative (after the launch) than Gamepark.
One good thing will be they are bound to localise (or create) games, just a shame I don't speak spanish!
