Please stop using that argument. I do want a Pyra.If you think that a high end phone will suit your needs then get it
Maybe. Sorry about that.As for the "not future proofing" I think you are being a little unfair.
Does that mean that I should wait for a "review" or that I should buy a new pyra to get the extra 5Ghz band? I mean, can the chip be upgraded without soldering? Or maybe I should change the entire board? He could put the 2.4Ghz in the first few batches and if there's a demand for it over time and his funds increase he can, at any time after the batch of purchased chips is used up, switch to the 2.4+5ghz version.
It's even got that USB3 port that doesn't actually work as a USB3 port, just in case a future SoC does have USB3.
Same question. Does that mean maybe a 20€ upgrade to my current Pyra or I will be forced to sell my pyra to buy the new revision?
I think that is exactly the opposite of what scene needs. If EvilDragon asks is because he wants the opinion of many. Otherwise he will say to all of us "suck it up and move on"You are firmly in the minority, suck it up and move on, don't complain and expect others to pay dozens of dollars for a feature they don't have any interest in.
