Hi

So I have a SD card which works in my GP2X but cannot be read now by my card reader. Previously it was beeing seen easily by it. My card reader is not faulty since other SD cards are being read.

So is my card dud somehow? if so why is it still working in the GP2X? it does not work using the GP2X as a USb SD reader - WINXP does not read it.

hmm annoying! any help appreciated!

Try running fdisk on it. I've had problems with corrupted files on SD cards that fdisk clears up nicely.

If Windows used to see it, it's definitely corrupted. You need to format it. Try backing up first on a different computer that can still read it.

tried chdsk, gives me this error "exception processing message"

seems it is corrupted sowill see if i can get another computer to read it; otherwise will need to keep it until i can finish cave story on it!

thx for advice peeps
