Interesting article on what RE4 could have been..


My son and I often talk about how much we wish the version of Resi 4 previewed would come out at some poiint, even with a different protagonist. I've loved all the main RE games since the very first (except #6) and hope that they put the scares back into the game, rather relying on the same old tired action sequences.

It's a shame that The Evil Within never produced what I hoped would be a return to the RE form.

Will RE ever devolve back into horror? I doubt it, but live in hope.
 
Just hope it doesn't devolve into the bad voice acting like in the first one.

As opposed to the terrible acting and dialogue in 6?

I know what you mean, but at least RE1 was memorable for lines such as "The master of unlocking" and "Gill sandwich" :P
