When I first found out about the Pandora, I was really excited about it, but soon I started considering finances and it kind of killed my buzz.
Assuming the Pandora is about $330 USD, plus whatever shipping might be, what functions does the Pandora have to justify such an expensive purchase?
As far as I've read, emulation for a wide array of systems is nowhere near 100%, and we've yet to see any PC functions in action, so I'm wondering why so many people are willing to blindly take the fall and pre-order something, that is at this stage, a write-up for what we'd actually want.
I see the Pandora as something I'd like to have, I'm just not sure it's worth putting down the cash for.
Is the emulation of a number of platforms worth $330+ when you can purchase a current console near that price range?
It's certainly worth SOMETHING to me, but is this the best option when it comes to portable emulation? Is this the definitive answer? And the PC functions it's supposed to have, will they actually be practical enough to use?
In short, what makes the Pandora worth $330 to YOU? I think some influencing could be of some help, as my decision is teetering.
