I'm trying to make my own Imappy set of maps.
Could somone be so kind as to explain this bit:

Code:
2nd step:
Write the textfile that describes your map.

Here is NICE.MAP that comes with the map for Nice:
[MAIN:Nice:nice.gif:nice_t.gif:998:926]
[ZONE01:00:Nice centre:nice1.gif:140:460:485:775:999:982]
[ZONE02:00:Nice port:nice2.gif:490:400:820:715:999:984]
[ZONE03:00:Nice est:nice4.gif:495:65:820:390:998:982]
[ZONE04:00:Nice nord:nice3.gif:150:120:485:455:998:982]

The line [MAIN:...] describes the overview image:
[MAIN
:City name
:Image file (real size)
:Image file (reduced size)
:Image width
:Image height]

The line [ZONEXX:...] describes each district images:
[ZONEXX (XX -> number of the district)
:District number of the father (zone 0 -> zone 'MAIN')
:District name
:Image file
:X1 - upper/left position from above image
:Y1 - upper/left position from above image
:X2 - bottom/right position from above image
:Y2 - bottom/right position from above image
:Image width
:Image height]

I'm not clear on how the program 'reads' coordinates .. I have all the individual close-up maps I need for each zone, but I'm not sure what co-ordinates I need to use for the X1,Y1,X2,Y2 positions.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Also, how do you convert the .txt file into a .map file? (I suddelny feel really stupid... :( )

For the X1,Y1,X2,Y2 positions I use coreldraw photopaint.
I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it:
Open the full size image(the overview picture), in the upper right corner are the coordinates, choose "in pixels"
Open the zoomed in picture, I just guessed a bit were the corners were, move the mouse to the corner position, and then have the coordinates.
To make the .map file change .txt into .map
