I was wondering about the possibilities of using Fenix for commercial games. I couldn't find any information about this. I have no idea how stable it is, esp for GP2X, so it may not even be interesting for freeware games.
You will not be able to make any games which might be interesting for people to buy, but I don't think there are any rules to stop you from trying
Really, if you want to make commercial stuff, use a 'real' programming language; fenix is too high-level for professional use (that's my opinion, though ).
High level doesn't exactly mean that commercial games can't be made with it. This is espcially true with 2D games where art and a well made game is the only real requirements even for top titles. And remember that a game is commercial even if the price is $1. In the end it really depends on if Fenix is stable enough and have the required features.
